The house is built on the edge of Samford. This house reperesents the edge of civilisation. the point where city meets rural life. It makes connections with the city throught it's white mansory walls and hard edges. the recyled iornbank cladding and over grown roof gradens give it a 'occupied ruin' look that was part of the brief.
